Jane's Addiction Show in Boston Cut Short After Perry Farrell Punches Dave Navarro Onstage

Altercation Ends Show, Leaves Fans Disappointed

Fans of Jane's Addiction were left disappointed after the band's show in Boston was cut short on Saturday night. The incident occurred during the band's performance of their hit song "Jane Says" when frontman Perry Farrell punched guitarist Dave Navarro in the face.

According to witnesses, the altercation began when Navarro made a joke about Farrell's age. Farrell, who is 60 years old, reportedly took offense to the joke and responded by punching Navarro in the face.

The incident caused a fight to break out onstage, and the band was forced to stop playing. Security guards quickly intervened and separated the two musicians, but the damage had been done. The show was officially called off, and fans were asked to leave the venue.

Navarro Injured, Farrell Apologizes

Navarro was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for a broken nose. Farrell later issued a statement apologizing for his actions, saying that he was "deeply sorry" for what happened.

"I am deeply sorry for my actions last night," Farrell said in a statement. "I was wrong to punch Dave, and I apologize to him, the band, and our fans. There is no excuse for my behavior, and I take full responsibility for it."

Farrell said that he and Navarro have been friends for over 30 years, and he hopes that they can eventually reconcile.

"I love Dave, and I hope that we can get through this and continue to make music together," Farrell said.
